General Information
Museum Center has an ongoing partnership with local schools to give the area's children a sense of the rich history and positive values of the area they call home. The Museum Center provides both on-site and in-school history programs for all grade levels. Programs are available throughout the school year Monday – Friday. If you don’t see a program that fits your needs, please call us to discuss it. We may be able to tailor a program to fit your needs!
Why visit the Museum Center with your students?
· All programs are designed to meet Tennessee state curriculum standards in a variety of subjects, not just history
· Students will have fun while learning local history and how history impacts our lives
· Students will see real historical objects that make history come alive
· They will learn valuable live skills while visiting a museum
