Special Collections
The Museum Center also has a variety of special collections from the Ocoee region.. The following is just a sample of the special collections on display at the museum:
Chastain Glass Collection:
The Museum has a large collection of 19 th century American Pattern Glass donated by the Chastain family.
Drugstore Collection:
This collection documents the history and importance of the small town pharmacy. Artifacts include compounding supplies, prescriptions, and other items that would have been found in the local pharmacy.
S.B. Rymer, Jr. Collection:
This archival collection contains photographs, documentary material and scrapbooks that record the history of Dixie Foundry and Magic Chef.
Family Collections:
The Museum also houses the archival collections of several prominent families in Bradley County including the Fillauer and Harle families.
The Museum Center at 5ive Points also has permanent collections on display at various times.
