Art Fest Workshop Watercolors with Jaime Barks

If you have been out to the Greenway by the 17th street bridge you have seen Jaime's art.  She is the artist responsible for the mural there!  You also may have seen her work when you visited the Cleveland Public Library where she has had her current work hanging this past month.  Another spot that you may have come across this artist's work is on the wall at Lupi's Pizza! This workshop is your opportunity to come and learn the basics of keeping a sketchbook full of quick studies of the world around you from this amazingly talented local artist.

During this class students will focus on sketching various locations in Cleveland.  We will cover the process of drafting with a pencil, adding ink and then a finishing with a watercolor wash.  This class will break down the sketch process for attendees.

This class is a great way to begin a new way of exploring the world around you and creating beautiful works of art from your local surroundings!

Basic supplies will be provided. We will also cover setting up a sketch bag as well as some preferred supplies for sketching in the field.
