Sewing Service Day with Quilts of Valor

All day, the Museum Center will be host to a Sewing Service Day with Quilts of Valor. Quilts of Valor is a non-profit foundation with the goal of honoring our wounded veterans with quilts. Anyone, sewing know-how or not, is encouraged to volunteer any time they have today. Doing so would help provide homemade items to honor our service men and women.

If you have a sewing machine, arm yourself with your machine and some neutral thread to help us out! Volunteers can offer any amount of time, whether it is fifteen minutes or five hours.

Volunteers may enter the quilt show for free on this day.

Food is not provided, however, there are many unique local restaurants within walking distance of the Museum Center.

Please contact if you are interested in volunteering.
