Intermediate Quilting: Flying Geese Made Easy with Bobbie Brooks

March 10 from 10am-2pm at the Museum Center
$10 for non-members, $5 for members

Come by the museum center on Saturday March 10 and learn how to quilt the Flying Geese pattern with Bobbie Brooks. Students are asked to bring light and dark fabrics and their sewing machines. Fabrics may be purchased at Hyderhangout. This class is intended for intermediate quilters and requires knowledge of how to work a sewing machine. Please bring your preferred machine-quilting tools: 
Rotary Cutter and Cutting mat
Scissors
Straight Pins
1 yard of solid dark-colored fabric of your choice
4 yards of light-colored fabric of your choice
Matching thread
Seam Ripper
Fabric marker

Template will be furnished by the teacher. Pattern drafting will be taught with the paper supplied by the teacher (please bring a no. 2 pencil). One iron will be supplied by the teacher. If you wish to bring your own, please feel free. 

Teacher also requests students bring a long 6" ruler and a 12" drafting ruler. If you have an easy angle ruler, please bring one. 

Final products will measure 47" x 36".
