Discover the history of canning and storing food. Designed for families to participate together, we will look at cans and jars, taste canned fruits and vegetables, prepare carrots for canning, and finally can the carrots at the Bradley County Cannery. At the end, take home your own jar of carrots!
Participants are required to provide their own transportation from the Museum to the Cannery (3 miles). All materials and supplies are provided.
